Bulgaria on Google Street View
You can now tour the streets of Bulgaria online.
Google Street View allows you to move down a road viewing the surroundings almost as you would if walking or driving.
Google began mapping Bulgarian streets in 2012 and took about nine months to complete the work.
“This Bulgarian launch covers not only major economic centers such as Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, but also historical and beloved towns like Veliko Turnovo and Koprvishtitsa,” said Google.
Bulgaria is the 48th country to have been mapped in this way. This release is part of a broader refresh. Google has now photographed more than 5 million miles of roads, covering 3,000+ cities.
