Bulgaria as a refuge from Greece

Among the examples cited is Staff Jeans, now employing 800 people in Rakovski, 110 miles north of the Greek border.

The article – entitled ‘Greek companies seek Balkan refuge from debt storm’ – comments: “Bulgaria, along with Cyprus, boasts the lowest corporate tax rate in the EU at 10 percent and starting a new business is easy and cheap.”
