Apartment 9 is a delight, beautifully designed, great for entertaining, and unusual too – one of very few luxury modern apartments in Sofia with four bedrooms and so much living space. The interior designer responsible for creating this apartment named the theme: “North Wood”.

You enter via a broad lobby area with two sets of large cupboards, plus floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a small sofa, a small unit of drawers, and impressive lighting.

The living / dining area is straight ahead, with very large windows across most of the wall, mainly floor-to-ceiling. A door leads out to the long private terrace from which you can see Vitosha Mountain, the golden domes of Alexander Nevski Cathedral, and the hills to the north of Sofia. Below is a lawn-covered terrace, and beyond the cobbled side-street.

The living area has a very large L-shaped sofa, armchair with footstool, coffee table, flat-panel TV, a big reading lamp, a drinks table and storage.

The elegant dining area has a large circular table with seating for eight, and magnificent custom-made display-shelves with built-in lighting.

Leading off the living room is the guest toilet with toilet, sink and mirror.

Next to it is the utility room, which is fitted with a washing and drying machine for your laundry, plus a set of built-in shelves.

The kitchen is Italian designed and comes equipped with everything: Bosch oven, built-in microwave, double-fronted fridge and deep-freeze, extractor fan and washing-up machine.  There is lots of storage for your supplies and cooking utensils, and plenty of space for cooking.  There is even a breakfast bar, which can double as additional surface for food preparation while cooking.

The corridor through the door to the right leads to the master bedroom, a bright room with large windows. There’s a stylish double bed with bedside tables, a full-length built-in wardrobe for storing your clothes, lots of additional shelving around the room, and a dressing table, mirror and stool.

From the master bedroom you walk through to the en-suite bathroom, which has double sinks, a bath, shower, bidet, heated towel rail, toilet by Geberit, and an extractor fan. There are not many places in Sofia giving a view of Alexander Nevski Cathedral and Vitosha Mountain from your shower!

Next door is bedroom 2, which has two beds, a desk with lots of storage, two office chairs, a fitted wardrobe, shelves, a tall mirror, and a children’s whiteboard.

Opposite the master bedroom is bathroom 2, featuring double sinks, bath, shower cabinet, toilet, good storage, a heated towel rail and an extractor fan.

Off the corridor to the left is bedroom 3, which has a stylish double bed, bedside storage units and lights, a large fitted-wardrobe filling almost an entire wall, suitcase stands, and a desk with mirror and stool. This room also has display shelves with built-in lighting.

Bathroom 3 is directly opposite, with double sinks, a mirror, double-length shower cabinet, heated towel-rail, toilet and extractor fan.

Next to this is bedroom 4 with a sofa-bed, desk and chair, fitted cupboard, desk lamp, wall mirror, plenty of shelves and drawers, a floor lamp and side table. This room could also serve as a home office.

In the entrance lobby is your security panel – controlling the movement sensors in each room.  The front door itself has quadruple drop-locks for maximum security.

In the lobby, too, is the entry phone for greeting your visitors.

The apartment has wooden parquet floors and tiled entrance and kitchen areas.

Unusually for Sofia, the whole apartment is fully air-conditioned – a boon at the height of summer… this is a city that can get extremely hot.  And of course it has full central heating.

This apartment has wi-fi Internet access already installed, and accessible from every room.  You will find lots of other thoughtful touches including plenty of electrical points throughout the apartment.

Every window in this apartment has built-in shutters for heat and sound insulation.  Should you wish, these are designed also to black out external light.

There are two Otis elevators serving all apartments, wide stairways & entrance areas, and spacious underground parking with automatic light sensors, and direct access via both elevator and stairs to the living areas. The parking barrier is operated from your car.

For your visitors’ parking: currently the side streets around Blvd Residence are in Sofia’s green parking zone. However Madrid Blvd itself is within the blue zone.
